Mikey's forever family didn't even know what they were missing, but they walked by a Homeward Trails adoption event and the Sweet Boy won their collective heart.

Mikey in a Nutshell
Mikey is a nine-year old, 60 lb. black lab. This sweet, well-cared for boy ended up in a shelter with his friend Lucky when their owner died. He was sad and faced euthanasia when Homeward Trails rescued him. He's housebroken, great on a leash, and an all-around love.
What is Homeward Trails?
Homeward Trails seeks permanent adoptive homes in the Mid-Atlantic Region for dogs and cats from high-kill shelters or whose owners can no longer care for them.
